Refund Policy
Last Updated: August 26, 2026
This Refund Policy supplements our Terms of Service and End-User License Agreement (EULA). All purchases and financial transactions for Takshak are processed by our authorized Merchant of Record, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd / Paddle Payments), on behalf of Takshiq Soft Labs LLP (Bengaluru, India).
1. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If Takshak is not the right fit for your CAM workflow, we offer a 100% full refund within thirty (30) calendar days of your original purchase date — no questions asked.
The date of your request governs. Provided your refund request reaches us inside the thirty-day window, the guarantee applies, even if the steps below are completed after the window closes.
2. Refund Request Process
To request a refund within your 30-day guarantee window:
- Send an email to
support@takshakcam.com. - Include your Paddle Order ID / Transaction ID or the email address used during purchase.
- We will acknowledge your request and confirm the deactivation step described in Section 3.
Paddle, as Merchant of Record, may also accept refund requests made directly to them. Where a refund is initiated that way, the deactivation described in Section 3 applies to your licence in the same manner, and Section 5 governs the effect on your Serial Key.
3. Returning the Licence (Deactivation)
Takshak is a perpetual licence installed on your own machine. As with returning a physical product, a refund requires the licence to be returned — that is, deactivated. This is a single step you perform in the Software:
- In the Software: choose
Help -> Deactivate Licence. This releases the machine on our validation servers, removes the stored activation from your computer, and closes Takshak. The installation is no longer licensed from that moment and will not run. - Already deactivated? If you deactivated before contacting us, no further action is needed. Our records show the licence as released and we proceed straight to the refund.
- Unable to deactivate? If the machine has suffered catastrophic hardware failure, has been wiped, or is otherwise unusable, tell us in your email. We will release the licence from our side; you confirm that the Software has been uninstalled.
Once deactivation is confirmed, the associated Serial Key is permanently terminated on our validation servers and can never be activated again, on that machine or any other.
4. Payout & Processing Timelines
- We instruct Paddle to issue your refund within three (3) business days of confirming deactivation.
- Paddle credits the full purchase amount back to your original payment method (credit card, PayPal, wire, etc.).
- Standard bank and card settlement typically takes a further 5 to 10 business days, depending on your financial institution.
5. Effect on Your Licence
In accordance with Section 7 of our EULA:
- The Serial Key is permanently blacklisted on our validation servers and cannot be activated on any machine.
- The deactivated installation holds no activation and will not run. Any remaining copies of the Software must be uninstalled.
- Where a payment is reversed without a deactivation — for example through a card chargeback or a dispute settled by our Merchant of Record — the Serial Key is blacklisted and the licence terminated with immediate effect. Any installation still present on your machine is unlicensed from that moment, and you are required to cease using it and uninstall the Software.
