Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase, access, and use of Takshak and related services provided by Takshiq Soft Labs LLP ("Company", "we", "us"), registered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

By purchasing, downloading, or using Takshak, you agree to these Terms, our End-User License Agreement (EULA), Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy.

1. The Product & Licensing

Takshak is an offline-first, local-only desktop Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) application.

License Model: Software access is granted as a perpetual license tied to a unique Serial Key for use on a Single Machine Environment, as defined in our EULA.
Hardware Transfers: License migrations between hardware workstations must follow our standard in-app deactivation/reactivation procedures. Catastrophic hardware failure resets are handled on a case-by-case basis via support@takshakcam.com.

2. Order Processing & Merchant of Record

All orders, payment processing, invoicing, and applicable local sales tax or VAT collection are managed by our authorized Merchant of Record, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd / Paddle Payments).

When placing an order, you agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms and Conditions in addition to these Terms.

3. Updates & Support Lifecycle

Software Updates: Your purchase includes access to downloadable updates, bug fixes, and performance improvements for a period of two (2) years from the purchase date, offered via the automatic startup check or Help -> Check for Updates. Updates remain optional and do not lock or degrade existing offline functionality.
Direct Help-Desk Support: Direct email support (support@takshakcam.com) is provided for an additional three (3) years following the update window, providing a total of five (5) years of direct support.
Community Hub: Access to documentation, tutorials, and community support is available at hub.takshakcam.com, governed by the Community Terms.

4. Refunds & License Revocation

30-Day Guarantee: Software purchases are covered by our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. The date your request reaches us governs the thirty-day window.
Deactivation as a Condition of Refund: A refund requires the licence to be returned — deactivated via Help -> Deactivate Licence, or released by us where the machine is unusable. Deactivation removes the stored activation from that computer, after which the Software will not run. On confirmed deactivation the Serial Key is permanently blacklisted and we instruct Paddle to refund within three (3) business days.
Chargebacks and Disputes: Where a payment is reversed without a deactivation, the Serial Key is blacklisted and the licence terminated with immediate effect; any installation still present is unlicensed and must be uninstalled.

5. User Responsibilities & Manufacturing Safety

G-Code Verification: You assume sole and absolute responsibility for verifying, simulating, and dry-running all toolpaths, feeds, speeds, and generated G-code on your machinery before performing real-world cuts.
Zero Project Access / NDA Protection: Because Takshak operates strictly locally on your machine, we never access your proprietary designs. We accept no liability under your third-party non-disclosure agreements or commercial client contracts.

6. Disclaimers, Liability Cap & Indemnification

"As-Is" Disclaimer: Takshak is provided "AS-IS" without warranties of any kind.
Liability Cap: Our aggregate financial liability arising out of or related to the Software or these Terms is strictly limited to the exact amount paid by you for the specific Software license, as set forth in the EULA.
Indemnification: You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Takshiq Soft Labs LLP, its partners, and employees from and against any third-party claims, liabilities, machine damage, material loss, or legal costs arising from your operation of CNC machinery or use of the Software.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
