The program frame — how the file opens, how tools are called, how it ends — is what differs between controls, so that is what you can see here. The cutting moves in between are the part.
Units
Two built-in posts, not a setting you have to remember: pick Fanuc - Generic - mm or Fanuc - Generic - Inch in the export dialog and the whole dialect follows, feed words included.
Will it match my machine?
The Fanuc - Generic post targets the common dialect rather than one specific machine. If your control wants something slightly different, duplicate any built-in post and edit the copy — it inherits from the original and stores only your changes, so the shipped post stays intact and updates cannot overwrite your version.
